Temmuz 2025 itibarıyla, Microsoft’un popüler oyun platformu Xbox, kullanıcı güvenliğini bir üst seviyeye taşımaya hazırlanıyor. Özellikle çocuk kullanıcıların korunması ve yaşa uygun içerik sunulması amacıyla yaş doğrulama sistemi kademeli olarak hayata geçiriliyor.
2025 yılı itibarıyla, dünya genelinde artan dijital güvenlik kaygıları, çocukların çevrimiçi ortamda maruz kaldığı tehlikeler ve regülasyon baskıları, büyük teknoloji şirketlerini harekete geçirmiş durumda. Avrupa Birliği ve Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde yürürlüğe giren Çocukların Çevrimiçi Korunması Yasaları, platformların yaş doğrulama sistemlerini zorunlu kılıyor.
Xbox da bu çerçevede:
Reşit olmayan kullanıcıların uygunsuz içeriklere erişmesini önlemek,
Ebeveyn kontrolünü güçlendirmek,
Oyuncu topluluğunda daha sağlıklı bir etkileşim ortamı oluşturmak amacıyla
yaş doğrulama sistemini Temmuz 2025 itibarıyla resmi olarak duyurdu.
Yeni sistem, Xbox hesabı oluşturulurken veya mevcut hesaplar için oturum açıldığında kullanıcıdan resmi bir kimlik doğrulaması talep ediyor. Bu sistemde:
Doğum tarihi manuel olarak girildiğinde, kullanıcının yaşına göre içerik filtrelemesi yapılacak.
13 yaş altı kullanıcılar için ebeveyn izni gerekecek.
Gerçek kişi doğrulaması, bazı ülkelerde yüz tanıma veya dijital kimlik senkronizasyonu yoluyla sağlanacak.
Hesap yaşına göre chat filtreleri, mağaza erişimi ve çok oyunculu oyun özellikleri kısıtlanabilecek.
Bu gelişme, ebeveynler için çocuklarının dijital ortamda daha güvenli bir deneyim yaşaması anlamına geliyor. Ayrıca yeni gelen kontrol paneli sayesinde:
Çocuğun oyun süresi,
Erişebileceği oyun türleri,
Arkadaş listesi ve çevrimiçi etkileşimleri
kolayca izlenebilecek ve yönetilebilecek.
